While there she explored drawing and printmaking, inspired by organic form. After graduating with a BFA degree, Victoria continued her interest in printmaking working as a fine art edition printer at Solo Press in Manhattan producing lithograph editions for prominent artists.  Inspired by Japanese ukiyo-e woodcut relief prints, Victoria began a series of woodcuts based on the landscape. A surge of interest in the woodcut led to edition printing for many New York and European artists experimenting with the medium.  A continuing interest in the natural world led Victoria to explore more immediate and diverse media such as watercolor, pastel, collage and assemblage. Her studies led her to a masters degree program in Studio Art at The College of New Rochelle. While there she developed her imagery exploring mixed media to create objects reflecting a continuing connection to nature.  After completing her certificate in art education, Victoria has taught students in grades K-8 at many local schools, including Dutchess Day School, Mizzentop School and Dutchess Arts Camp, passing on to them her love and enjoyment of art.
