LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSES
Pawling Recreation is excited to offer the Lifeguard Training Course AND the Lifeguard Recertification Course at Lakeside Park this summer.
American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard Training Course (For first time lifeguards)
Information: The American Red Cross Training Course is open to any one looking to get their certification for the first time.
This course will include Lifeguard Training, Waterfront Module, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid.
Successful completion of this course will give you the skills need to lifeguard at a pool or a lake.
Requirements: Participants must be 15 years old, capable of swimming 500 yards of Front Crawl & Breaststroke, Dive 9 feet to retrieve a 10lb brick, must attend all 3 days of classes, must complete 9 hours of online training at home, must pass all written exams AND skills tests.

Re-Certification Course (For Experienced Lifeguards)
Information: This course is a RE-CERTIFICATION COURSE for Lifeguard Training, Waterfront Module, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid.

Requirements: Participants must have current American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard Certifications.
